Sleeve Tattoo Designs are a more than an expression of the tattoo
art form, they are a total commitment by those getting tattooed. A
Sleeve
Tattoo (or Tattoo Sleeve) is a usually a collection of tattoos
or in some cases, one large tattoo covering the arm, though some tattoo
sleeves extend past the shoulder and onto the chest, neck and back.
A "full sleeve tattoo design" extends from the wrist to
the shoulder. A tattoo that extends from the wrist to the elbow or
from the elbow to the shoulder is most commonly referred to as a "half
sleeve tattoo design" while a tattoo that extends from the wrist
to the mid forearm or from the shoulder to the mid bicep is called
a "quarter sleeve tattoo design". The most common sleeve
tattoo design is probably a dragon followed by several variations
of Japanese tattoos and then finally the tribal tattoo design.
